Are you tired of watching the same stale, repetitive content on YouTube? The moment you open your mobile, videos on the same daily topics start appearing. It feels as though the entire world revolves around just that one subject. If so, this post—and the solution it offers—is for you.
What can you do to break free from this algorithm and filter bubble?
Clear Your Browsing History -
Delete your YouTube browsing history every week or month. YouTube shows you videos based on your past history, which can completely disconnect you from what is actually happening in the real world.
Change Your Subscriptions -
Unsubscribe from old channels for a while and subscribe to new channels covering different topics. Make it a goal to watch a different kind of video this month and view life from a fresh perspective.
Rotate Your Ideology
For instance, if you have subscribed to channels and journalists with a Leftist ideology, switch to Right-wing ones and enjoy that content for a month; conversely, if you follow Right-wing channels, make the switch to consume Leftist content.
Explore New Topics -
Next, subscribe to channels that represent a centrist viewpoint. Then, in the following month, move on to even newer topics—such as animals, technology (AI, space), work, and so on.
Analyse the Change in Yourself -
What new changes have occurred within you? What negative and positive impacts did it have on your mindset?

But... there is a major challenge here.
A person might be able to give up alcohol or drugs, but someone bound by a specific ideology always views themselves as rational and intelligent, while regarding others as foolish.
The point is, while it might be easy for a person to break free from other addictions, letting go of the intoxication of one's own ideology to understand another person's perspective is far more difficult.
Take A Small Challenge:
If you feel I am just saying things at random, please try applying this method yourself—and then come back and share your experience!
