How did foreign media report? -
Foreign media have widely covered the Pahalgam terror attack. MSN called it a "horrific murder" and said that the terrorists' aim was to incite communal tension in India. People of Kashmir unanimously condemned the attack.
The Economic Times reported that foreign nationals were also killed in the attack and described it as "Pulwama 2.0". According to the report, the terrorists asked the victims about their religion and then opened fire.
The Times of India called it the "deadliest attack" and said that it was the biggest attack on tourists since the 1990s. The report also said that the terrorists asked the victims their names and asked them to recite the Kalma.
According to Wikipedia, 26 people were killed in this attack, including Hindus, Christians and a local Muslim. The terrorists used M4 carbines and AK-47, and it is considered to be the biggest attack after the 2008 Mumbai attack.
While the Indian government has objected to the BBC's reporting. The government wrote a letter to the BBC objecting to calling the 'terrorists' 'militants' and said that it will keep an eye on BBC's reporting. At the same time, the BBC kept claiming to demand proof of Pakistan's involvement from India in most of its reporting. But the same BBC kept presenting every statement of Pakistan as news without knowing the truth or going to the ground.
Go and tell Modi -
During the brutal massacre in Pahalgam, the terrorists left a woman alive saying 'Go and tell Modi'. This was a direct challenge of the terrorists to India and the government that we will kill your citizens, what will you do? The weeping relatives of the dead and their wives became the human face of this terrorist attack.
And Bharat responded -
This was not just military revenge; it was symbolic justice. It had the message that the women of India do not just bear the wounds inflicted by terrorists - they face terror fearlessly, and lead from the front.
Importance of Sindoor and Bindi -
It is considered a symbol of Suhaag for married women and a symbol of their husband's long life and happy married life. Sindoor is considered a symbol of bravery, power and dedication. It is not just makeup, but represents a woman's honor and authority. Goddess Parvati always wore sindoor in her maang for her husband Shiva. Therefore, women apply sindoor like her for the long life of their husband. Applying it at the place of maang (where Sahasrara Chakra is considered), maintains mental peace and energy balance.
Sindoor and Kumkum Bindi is not a tradition, but in Sanatan Dharma it shows the high level of PREM between husband and wife. Which is worn by every goddess, be it Sita Mata, Lakshmi Mata or Mata Parvati. Shiv Ji once said to Mata Parvati that the woman who wears sindoor and bindi, I will myself protect her Sahasrara Chakra and Ajna Chakra, due to which there is only love and happiness in them.
The Indian Army carried out "Operation Sindoor" against terrorism, in which Sindoor is a symbol of respect, bravery and strength of every mother.
